In 2003, I, Sir Bormun, started up a fanfiction project on the GameFAQs boards that was based around the annual character
contests that the site holds. Eventually, it grew into a massive effort that more than a dozen writers eventually contributed
to. In the end, it lasted into the semifinals of the 63-match tournament before the writing team finally burned
out... although there's always a chance we could decide to finish it up someday. The archive for that project can be
found at http://crolapras.tripod.com. A sequel to this project, also unfinished at this time, was created based on the 2005 GameFAQs Character Battle. It can

Three years later, in 2006, I decided to give it another go. This is the work in progress that is the FFP 2k6, a
sequel to the original project. It's three years later in the world that was established by the original project, and there
are new battles and new enemies to fight. It's a darker story, it's a story with more of a message to it than 2k3 ever had,
and it's a story where the good guys and the bad guys aren't so easy to tell apart.
